Le Pic a Glaces

We have been to Aubeterre a few times but this was our first visit to this restaurant. Visited for lunch and for dinner a couple of days later. A lovely restaurant just off the main square in the village. Nice inside restaurant area with bar. There are two terraces at the rear of the building with beautiful views overlooking the village and down to the river. Both times we had the fixed price menu which provided enough choice for us. There is also an a la carte menu. The portion sizes on the fixed price menus was good. Only one disappointment was that the calamari and onion rings didn&#39;t appear to be home made. Everything we had was really tasty. The house wine was good. The service was excellent. Will definitely go again.
